Protect and extend the life of your mooring buoys with the Taylor Made Mooring Collar. It is specifically designed to prevent the anchor chain from scraping against the neck of your mooring buoy as it is sitting on top of the water. This collar will limit the wear and tear that can quickly damage the neck of the buoy, and won’t harm the buoy’s anchor chain on your shackle. Our mooring buoy collar is compatible with the 12” and 15” diameter Taylor Made T3C mooring buoys and any buoy with the center tube design. It will help shield the top edge of the pipe from wear and tear. It will work fine in the shackle and taper buoys so long as the appropriate size collar is chosen for the tube.” The wide collar fits most standard shackles and installation is easy and quick. You slip the collar into the top of your 2”, 2-1/2” or 3” diameter Taylor Made Sur-Moor buoy center tube, run the anchor chain up and simply attach your shackle. Hardware is not included. The T3C mooring collar is made from hot-dipped galvanized steel for a sturdy and secure hold.
